I done catched us a katydid for show and tell

You wouldn't believe how this leaf-looking grasshopper got my heart racing. It probably only has a mouth the size of a sugar granule, but cornering him with a plastic aquarium took every ounce of courage. Liesel doesn't do bugs.

Sweet Potato Tempura. Y'know I ate it on 3 separate occasions before I realized it's just basically deep fried potatoes (aka, french fries). But soooooooo wonderful.
