9th Anniversary

Pooped from kayaking, time for the classic: dinner and a movie. Sushi and Tropic Thunder, to be exact. We haven't been to Ybor in a while... (NOTE: This time, no tatoos.)

Kayaking Through (and into) the Mangroves

We celebrated our 9th anniversary by kayaking the mangrove trails at Caladesi Island. It was very cool, very beautiful. The only challenge was keeping the kayak straight while trying to take photos/video. Lessons Learned:  If (when) you bump a mangrove, things fall out of it (e.g., large spiders, creepy crabs, snails, snakes) and then into your kayak/lap. This happened many times. I eventually got good at gasping, grabbing, and throwing.

The Boy's Birthday

After a morning of bowling and arcade games with grandparents, the boy celebrated his 5th with his best buddy at the movies.
